Bill’s forestry career started in the early 1990’s with establishment and silviculture of Farm Forestry  projects which are now ready for harvest.  Since graduating university he has worked for both large international forestry corporates and smaller forest management companies across New Zealand.

Bill is experienced in the planning and project management of harvesting and engineering operations to optimise efficiency while meeting compliance with industry standards, regulations and budgets. He also has extensive experience in the Asia-Pacific log trade, shipping logistics & domestic log trading. This current experience is beneficial for accurate due diligence for forest valuations, stumpage sales, contract management and auditing of operations.

Having worked for the Industry Training Organisation (ITO), Bill is an experienced auditor and holds NZQA qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, plus Management and Quality Control of Forest Operations.
