Kevin joined Forme in 2014 following a diverse career in forest management roles in both the public and private sectors.
With a strong operational background in the corporate forest sector, his public-sector work included five years as the urban forest manager for the Wellington City Council and three years with the Ministry of Primary Industries. Here he was directly involved with operationally overseeing some of MPI’s afforestation programs including the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), Afforestation Grants Scheme (AGS) and Permanent Forest Sink Initiative (PFSI). His time in this role is invaluable in assisting clients navigate through the complexities, and opportunities, of the ETS including ETS administration and NZU sales. Kevin, a Registered Forestry Consultant with the New Zealand Institute of Forestry, is chairperson for the Southern North Island branch of the NZIF and undertakes much of Formes forest valuation work.
