Jack Palmer

Forest Engineer (BE (Hons) - Forestry), RMNZIF

Jack graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Engineering (Forestry) in 2016 and after moving to Wellington, has since found himself on several projects for Forme based all around New Zealand. Jack is a Registered Forest Consultant with the NZIF.

Jack’s skills around harvest planning, engineering solutions, environmental management and productivity research has proven to be well regarded and he has quickly become sought after for his ability to find efficiencies and value during the harvesting phase of the forest management cycle.

A recent registered member of the New Zealand Institute of Forestry, Jack is heavily involved in valuation work and due diligence for clients up and down the country. Jack has recently been voted onto the NZIF Council, active from June 2022 and is keen to increase the young person’s presence within the industry through his active involvement of the Future Foresters NZ.
