Jack Palmer

Forest Engineer (BE (Hons) - Forestry, MNZIF)

Jack graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Engineering (Forestry) in 2016 and after moving to Wellington, has since found himself on several projects for Forme based all around New Zealand.

Jack’s skills around harvest planning, engineering solutions, environmental management and productivity research has proven to be well regarded and he has quickly become sought after for his ability to find efficiencies and value during the harvesting phase of the forest management cycle.

Jack has detailed experience with resource consents under the NES-PF and has a wide array of knowledge, interest and understanding of the latest technological advancements within the industry. A recent member of the New Zealand Institute of Forestry and keen to increase the young person’s presence within the industry through his support of the Future Foresters NZ.
